Scenes From A Marriage

Dialogue between Bin Laden and his wife at the compound:

Karen: I don't know. I don't know if I could live that way. What if, God forbid, you go to Gitmo?

Bin Laden: Karen, are you nuts? Jeannie's husband went to Gitmo just to get away from her, she's such a pain in the ass. Nobody goes to Gitmo unless they want to, unless they make themselves get caught...

Not A Suprise

A search of the Bin Laden computers confiscated by the Navy Seals revealed the entire collection of Michael Moore movies...

Smile For The Birdy...

OBAMA, NO PHOTOS OF OSAMA: 'We don't need to spike the football'...

Wanting to see the photos is not spiking the football, its more like looking at the replay to confirm that the touchdown actually occurred.  Do we have the right to see the photos?  Of course we do.

When it came to Abu Ghraib, the hard left said "we have a right to know" but when it comes to the murder of Bin Laden, an enemy of historic proportions, they tell us we don't have a right at all. The lesson: pictures that will embarrass our military should be distributed wide and far; pictures that will confirm one of the greatest accomplishments in American military history must be hidden away from the public view.

You can't underestimate how big a deal this is.  Bid Laden is our generation's Hitler.  Show the pics....

Last Words

Obama's last words: "Don't tase me, bro!"

I Love It So...

Could it have played out any better?

Our guys go to Osama's house, break in, put two bullets in his head,-- in front of his wife (one of many) and children-- and take his body and dump it into the ocean?

A straight-up assassination.  Let me count the ways I love it so:

1) It was just us.  No "international community".  No "coalition of the willing".  We did not inform ANYBODY.  We did not feel the compulsion to get others to at least fake that they were involved in the assassination.  We did not say, "Hey England, or Australia, want to hold onto this ham radio during the raid?  We'll give you credit during the press conference."  It was vital that Bin Laden was killed by an American.  By going it alone, we ensured that it played out that way.

2) We did not ask permission from Pakistan.  We tracked him, found him and killed him. We did not let geographical borders impede the mission.

3) No lawyers. No Miranda warnings-unless Miranda was the name of the broad Bid Laden the coward used as a human shield before he took two to the head.  No memorandum from the Justice Department on how many times the SEALS had to knock on the door before proceeding.  It was a military operation-not a criminal justice take down.  No subpoenas, depositions or motions.  Just two to the head.

4) Our military guys.  God bless them, the SEALS and all the rest.  They are the best of the best. Look at the percentage of people that serve in the military compared to those that do not or have not served. The disparity is the largest in American history.  They have taken on a burden that is so disproportionate-and yet they never complain.  What they did yesterday will be remembered ---for as long as we have a country--as one of the greatest military achievements in American history.  How can you not burst with pride when you think about our military?

NATO

Today, the president assures us we are out of it.  We hand it over to NATO, and we take a backseat.  Please.  That's like Bruce Wayne handing it over to Batman.

NATO= Need American Troops Only.

Handing it over to NATO means they make our guys wear a different helmet during the bombing.

Remember the purpose of NATO?  It is a treaty among nations that states if the Soviet Union attacks one of the nations, the rest agree to go to war against the Soviets.  It was our way of assuring Western Europe that we would defend them against the Soviets.

There is nothing in the NATO Charter about getting involved in  civil wars in the Middle East.

Why He Did It

President OBomber agreed to implement the No-Fly Zone because we wants to encourage people to use high-speed rails.....

Barack OBomber

A lot of people when they go on spring break, they go to South America and get bombed.  Obama, the Neo-Bam, went to South America to begin bombing.  He did not bother to go to Congress to authorize military action action Libya, nor did he take the time to explain to the American people his rationale.

And after the bombing began, he continued his spring break. You would think that he would shake the hand of the Brazilian leader and say, "Sorry, I gotta split, I just started a war".  But if you thought that, you would be wrong.  Because Obama's spring break  tour continues as he makes his way to Chile.

Don't you find that equal parts odd and irresponsible? And downright weird?

And what about starting a war without getting authorization from Congress?

I thought libs were into the whole voting thing.  Rock the Vote. Vote or Die.

Want to turn your liberal friends/associates into as Tommy from Goodfella's would say, "stubling mumbling pricks?"  Just quote Obama  from 2007, before he turned into Neo-Bam:

The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.

Watch them stumble as they try to reconcile that statement with the Barack O' Neo-Bomber of 2011.

Even Harry Houdini couldn't get out of that bind.

But we don't hear a peep from the anti-war crowd, do we?

A Liberal Army

Now that their radical social re-engineering of the military has failed with the Senate rejecting the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell", look for liberals to find other ways to impose their values on the military.  Such as:

A Toys for Guns Program where all soldiers can hand in their weapons and get a nice toy in exchange;

Solar Powered Tanks;

Green Bombs-they don't explode, they just warn you of the evils of global warning.

Frisky Business

The Pentagon has just released its study in repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."  Hidden deep in the report is the recommendation that soldiers effected by the policy can be transferred from the military to the TSA where they can conduct full body seaches at airports.

Where Have You Gone, Jack Tatum?

Regarding the preacher who wants to burn the Koran, we all know that the only mistake he made was he picked the wrong holy book to desecrate. You change the Koran to the Bible, you could set it on fire, you could cover it in shit, you could throw in a urine- soaked crucifix as a book marker, and the next thing you know, you will have your own exhibit in the Brooklyn Museum of Art-and you will celebrated as a great artist. And the sad thing is everything I just wrote has happened in the past. Not only has it happened-but it was all funded by taxpayers through the National Endowment of the Arts.

So maybe that's what the preacher should do, ask the NEA to underwrite the cost of the lighter fluid.

But what kills me dead about this whole thing is not the above, we all know that part of the right of passage of the hard left is the desecration of Christian symbols and hiding behind the skirt of the 1st amendment when they are called on it.

I know they are rats like that.

But was kills me is the argument by the Pres, Madam Hillary and even Petraeus that "if he does it, they may get mad and hurt us".

How far we have fallen!

America is like a battered wife and we as a nation have to be careful not to say something that will set our wife-beating husband (radical Islam) off-cause he will smack us around.

And it will be our fault for setting him off.

How bout for once we make them afraid on how we will react if they do something?

America needs to be like Jack Tatum.

And radical Islam needs to feel like a wide receiver going over the middle after the Darryl Stingley episode.

Plant the seed in their mind: if they go over the middle, something really bad might happen.

Cause right now, they are roaming free in the green open fields.

And that will get us killed-not a preacher in Florida with a Koran & a set of matches.

The Thin-Skinned Presidency

Thoughts on McChrystal:

General McChrystal's job was to kill people who want to kill you. And he was great at it. And he had to do it with a rules of engagement handbook written by ACLU lawyers. Never forget that this is a great man we are talking about.

Obama's sacking of McChrystal shows how petty and thin-skinned he really is. When you combine that with Obama's natural animus for the military-McChrytal did not have a chance.

It also is a strong indication on how insecure Obama really is. He knows he is in over his head. He knows that before 2008, he never held a job in his life before where he was in charge of ANYTHING. He wakes up every day hoping that he won't be found out.

And because he is so insecure he overcompensates by asserting authority in cases like this. We get it. He is the president. He can fire generals.

A confident president would laugh off a dopey article that appeared in an even dopier magazine. A confident president would look at McChrystal and ask: "Is he doing a good job?" A confident president puts the country's interests first.

But we have Obama-and we no longer have McChrystal.

Kagan Is Unfit For Service

Senator Sessions today kicked facts on Lady Kaga's disgraceful record of barring military recruiters from the Harvard Campus when she was Dean. It violated the law, and was particularly disgraceful at a time when we were/are fighting two wars. Sessions rightfully points out that while she shut the schoolhouse door to our military, she opened it wide to the Saudi Royal family which donated $20 to Harvard for Islamic studies under Kagan's watch. Now under Islamic law, homosexuality is punishable by death. And Kagan was fine with taking money from sponsors of that law. But our military-she had a moral objection to? "Don't Ask Don't Tell" she finds morally repugnant but taking cash to teach Sharia law is acceptable? The bottom line for Kagan and the rest of the extreme left is they will always find common ground in their distain for the military. Every whacked- out leftist group hates the military. And the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" barring from campus was just a pretext they used to mask the hostility they have for our people in uniform.

Here are some excerpts from Sessions excellent commentary followed by the video:

When Ms. Kagan became Dean in 2003 she inherited a policy of full, equal access for the military. But she reversed that policy in clear, open defiance of federal law.

She kicked the military out of the campus recruitment office as our troops at that very moment risked their lives in two wars overseas.

Some have recently attempted to defend Ms. Kagan’s conduct by arguing that she deigned to speak with student veterans, to discuss whether they would coordinate a sort of second-class system for the recruiters who had been coming on campus.

This all happened after she had defied the law and shut down those official channels of the campus recruiting office.

But the Harvard Student Veterans Association plainly expressed to Ms. Kagan, in a letter to the entire law school, that they lacked the resources to take the place of the campus office now closed to the military.

That letter reads in part:

“Given our tiny membership, meager budget, and lack of any office space, we possess neither the time nor the resources to routinely schedule campus rooms or advertise extensively for outside organizations, as is the norm for most recruiting events.”

But Ms. Kagan was unmoved. Instead of welcoming the military recruiters on campus, she punished them and relegated them to second-class status…

On the Saudi connection at Harvard:
Around the same time Ms. Kagan was campaigning to exclude military recruiters—citing what she saw as the evils of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell—Harvard University accepted $20 million from a member of the Saudi Royal family to establish a center for Islamic Studies in his honor.

A recent Obama State Department report concerning Saudi Arabia and Islamic Shari’a law noted that:

“Under Shari’a as interpreted in [Saudi Arabia] sexual activity between two persons of the same gender is punishable by death or flogging.”

Ms. Kagan was perfectly willing to obstruct the U.S. military—which has liberated countless Muslims from the hate and tyranny of Saddam Hussein and the Taliban.

But it seems she sat on the sidelines as Harvard created an Islamic Studies Center funded by—and dedicated to—foreign leaders presiding over a legal system that violates what would appear to be her position.

What A Man

Page 2: What is your most startling memory from your time aboard the USS Alabama?

Bob Feller: The biggest thing that I was involved in was known as the "Marianas Turkey Shoot" [June 19, 1944]. That was in the Philippine Sea off the island of Saipan with the Third Fleet and Task Force 58. We shot down over 470 Japanese airplanes in one day. And that was the end of the Japanese Naval Air Force.

Baseball Hall of Famer Bob Feller is 91. He broke into the majors at 17 in 1936. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, he joined the Navy the next day-becoming the first big leaguer to join the military after the attack. To hear Feller talk about his combat experience is always enlightening-he is a national treasure whose life should be studied in American history classes.

Here are some excerpts from recent interviews that Feller has given. You will surely note that Feller did not limit high hard ones to the batter at home plate-he saved his best stuff for the enemy:

PD: When did you first hear of the attack on Pearl Harbor?

BF: While I was driving to Chicago. I made up my mind right then and there that I was going to enlist. When I got to Chicago, I called Gene Tunney, head of the Naval Physical Fitness Program. I told him I was ready to sign up to join the Navy. He told me what I needed to do.

PD: Did you ever think about what you were giving up to enlist, and that you might lose not only your career, but your life?

BF: As soon as the war broke out, I was in, no matter what I was doing at the time. I wasn't concerned about anything but trying to do whatever I could to help my country.

PD: You were a gun captain on the USS Alabama in the Pacific theater. What did that entail?

BF: I was in charge of 25 guys -- 24 on the guns, one guy standing beside me. I pulled the trigger.

PD: Were you ever afraid to die during combat?

BF: Never gave it a thought. You always knew that if a bullet had your name on it, you were going to get it. But when you're young, everybody thinks it's got somebody else's name on it. That's why we have wars.
There was always a little panic, sure. Everybody had different emotions. But you had a job to do, and you needed to have a clear head. What they teach you in war college is, when you're on the guns, kill the other guy before he kills you. We had a few gutless people aboard, yes, and we got rid of them.

PD: What do you mean by "got rid of them"?

BF: Shore duty or something else way from the ship.

PD: Did you shoot down kamikazes?

BF: Oh, hell yes. We had Variable Density goggles, which I have in my museum in Iowa. Kamikazes would come out of the sun at high noon, and you supposedly couldn't see them. We could use the goggles to block out the sun and see the plane and splash it with the barrel straight up. We fired eight rounds a second out of the 40-mm quad.

The Liar

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Trying to defuse a crisis that could give the GOP a powerful opening, Democratic Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal said Tuesday that he "misspoke" in claiming more than once that he served in Vietnam, and he dismissed the furor as a matter of "a few misplaced words."

What a piece of work this guy is. It turns out the closest he came to Vietnam was watching The Deer Hunter. It reminds me of a guy who told me his father died during World War II. Was it in the Pacific? No. Europe? No. He died in Brooklyn, but it was 1944, so it was during World War II.

You would think "Rambo" Blumenthal would slink away in shame-but liberal politicians are incapable of feeling shame.

My favorite part of the story is that it was given to the Times by Rambo's opponent Linda McMahon-the wife of Vince McMahon. Her opposition research consisted of having the Iron Sheik google this guy's military record. And that military record turned out to be as fake as a Vince McMahon -promoted wrestling match.

This just in: Rambo says he misspoke when he said he received the Purple Heart. What he meant to say is that he liked the movie Purple Rain.

If he loses, look for Obama to name him Secretary of Defense.

They Can't Get Together

Here's the NYT's on Defense Secretary Robert Gates:

The New York Times reported in its Sunday editions that Mr. Gates had warned in a secret three-page memo that the United States did not have an effective long-range policy for dealing with Iran’s steady progress toward nuclear capability.

Think about that: The Secretary of Defense is saying that we have nothing in place to stop an out of control Islamic regime from acquiring nuclear weapons. The mere fact that he had to write this memo as a way to get the White House to focus on this says everything you need to know about how our security is compromised by Obama.

You know how a child acts out sometimes to get a parent's attention? Gates is no child, but this memo is his way of getting Obama's attention and telling him: "Deal With This Threat."

Lets see if I got this straight: the people who run Iran are crazy, and nuclear weapons are the most destructive weapons man has ever created. And we have nothing in place to stop this get together? Iran and nuclear weapons are like Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown: they do enough harm separately, therefore there is no reason they should ever get together. We shouldn't even let them acquire steak knives, never mind nuclear weapons.

But if the Administration is looking for a plan, Baldman has one for them.

When the Gulf War was imminent, Secretary of State James Baker took an Iraqi diplomat aside and told him in no uncertain terms: "Listen fuckhead, take this message back to Saddam: if you use chemical weapons, we will nuke you. You think I am fucking with you? I am not fucking with you."

Bottom line: they knew Baker was serious, so they never used chemical or biological weapons.

Regarding Iran, their crazy leader, the guy with the Members Only jacket has to hear a similar message. He has to be told that our nuclear weapons are not like fine China & Silverware. They are not just for show. That we like to take them out for a test drive every so often. And we will drop them on his head if Iran takes ANY STEPS towards building nuclear weapons.

Obama needs to stop talking about public options and start talking about nuclear options.

And mean it.

Obama: It Sucks Being A Superpower

Did you see the President say this at the end of his nuclear summit:

Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower....

Whether we like it or not? Are you shitting me? Did you ever think you would live to see the day where an American President regrets the fact that we have a tremendous military advantage over the rest of the world? What a drag it is, to be able to defend yourself. How unfair it all is.

I for one, LOVE that we are a superpower. I thank God that I live in a country that does not have to rely on another country to provide its national defense. Nothing is better than that. It's the number one perk we have as Americans. And this President sees it as a burden?

Wake me up on the Stoop from this nightmare....

20 Minutes

The President flew half way around the world to Afghanistan in a "surprise" visit to see our troops. They say it was a surprise, but somehow the media was there cause the cameras were rolling. Did you know that that he spent a total of 20 minutes with the troops? 20 minutes. And it was his first visit since he took office. 20 minutes. The man spent more time filling out his NCAA brackets than he did with our troops.
