Quote of the Day

If jobs are available in the United States, Americans should go to the front of the line to get them, ahead of illegal aliens. And as there are six Americans out of work for every job opening, it is time to call a moratorium on immigration. Why are we bringing into the United States over a million legal immigrants a year to compete for jobs against 15 million to 25 million Americans who can't find work or full-time jobs to take care of their families?

Who is America for -- if not for Americans first?

this is my first comment and i have to say, i loved the obama nobel peace prize post.. it reminded me argentina's clinching a spot in the world cup today--lucky bastards..but i digress. immigration. i disagree with that quoate. illegal immigrants are not brought to the US. they come here because there are available jobs that US workers are not taking. it is a simple economics issue of supply and demand. if there are no jobs available (ie americans will take them), they will not come. many are returning to their home countries because of this economy, and many are not coming due to the economy now.

Lets just say we have an honest disagreement here. In my view, the reason why Americans don't do certain jobs is because of the massive illegal immigration that has driven salaries downward in certain sectors. Simply put, most illegal aliens will work for much less than the average American.

But thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.

Illegal immigrants come here so they don't have to work; they come here for free housing, healthcare & education..
