Nice little Veteran's Day interview below with three men whose lives intersected at West Point in the mid 1960's: Bob Knight, Bill Parcells & Coach K. Knight was the head basketball coach, Coach K played for him, and Parcells was the assistant football coach. Can you imagine some kid playing for Knight in basketball & Parcells in football at Westpoint? The way they drove their players, Vietnam must have seemed like Disneyland in comparison. I remember years later, Parcells would bring Knight into the Giant locker room before games, and LT would yell "you ain't throwing any chairs in here." Oh, no Coach Knight post would do justice without this after practice classic tirade. Caution: STRONG LANGUAGE. | |
