Every once in a while, I read something that is so brilliant, so on point, so truthful at its core,that I marvel at it and must share it with others.
The statement below falls into that category. It's written by a pal of mine who moved out west. His name is Johnny. Like millions of us, he wonders about the policy decisions being made regarding national security, the release of terrorists, and the possible prosecution of Americans who brought these animals to justice.
Here's Johnny's statement:
"So we are going to close Gitmo and let terrorists go. Then were going to put the people who caught them in jail. I've got that right?
Even Osama himself in his wildest dreams can't believe that this day has come."
Johnny nails it like a master carpenter.
In your heart, you know he is right.
