Isn't it great that we can look to wise men that came before us for guidance in dealing with the problems of today?
The link below is a speech given by private citizen Ronald Reagan in 1961. You know how Bob Dylan has a song that goes "Sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace"? Reagan warns that socialism will come to this country disguised as liberalism. And that socialized medicine would be the first encroachment because its easy to sell.
When you listen to Reagan below, (with soundtrack by Glenn Beck) notice how he lives on in all of the town hall protesters.
As for me, I am with Reagan on this one. I see nationalized health care as a D-Day for socialism. Just as on D-Day we gained a foothold in Europe, and it was the beginning of the end or the war, if we let a national health care system come to our shores, it will be the foothold the socialists (liberals) need to impose socialism on America.
If private citizen Reagan attended the current town hall meetings, he would be dismissed by the left as too organized to be believed, too well dressed to be taken seriously, and too patriotic to be understood.
Plus, Congressman Jim Moran would ask for his ID.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfyfq-gqxWk
Listen to the man, this speech should be played at every town hall meeting:
